When do we collect personal information?
We collect personal information when a candidate applies for a job offering with MEDFAR and throughout the hiring process until the candidate receives an offer, is rejected or withdraws from the process.
How do we collect the information?
Personal Information is collected directly from applicants when applying through our ATS SmartRecruiters or other job platforms like LinkedIn or Indeed. We also collect applicant Personal information from referrals, publicly available sources (e.g., LinkedIn or Indeed profiles), and other recruiters when partnering with a recruitment agency.
Who has access to this information?
MEDFAR’s Talent Acquisition team has full access to applicants’ information. Hiring managers and interviewers involved in the hiring process may only access personal information such as name, last name, email, and resume.

How long do we store personal Personal Information?
We will retain your information for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes described above or as otherwise required by law. Applicant’s personal information on Smart Recruiters is self-managed; it can always be accessed, deleted, or edited. If you accept an offer and are hired for a role at MEDFAR, we will retain your Personal Information to manage your employment or contract with us, and we will share a separate privacy policy that will apply as an employee at MEDFAR. If your application is not successful (you withdraw or decline our offer), we will retain your Personal Information for a period of 3 years after you apply for various reasons, including in case we face a legal matter in respect of a recruitment decision, to consider you for other current or future job opportunities at MEDFAR, and to help us better understand, analyze, and improve our recruitment processes.
