After having won the four largest calls for tenders to implement an electronic medical records solution in the province of Quebec in 2015, MEDFAR Clinical Solutions (“MEDFAR”) has been awarded a contract to implement its electronic medical record solution as part of the CIUSSS de L’Est-de-L’Île-de-Montréal call for tenders.
MYLE, our Electronic Medical Record (“EMR”) solution, will be implemented in the following clinics:
• The Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital FMU
• The Mercier-Est-Anjou CLSC
With this new contract, the company will continue its expansion, gain two footholds to the east of the island of Montréal, and continue to extend significantly its presence in Quebec and in the greater metropolitan area.
MYLE, a tool designed for interdisciplinary collaboration, will enable doctors, medical residents, specialized nurse practitioners, nurses, and other health professionals working in these institutions to improve their work processes, through both better management and better access to information. Patients in the region will receive higher quality treatment thanks to the ease with which information can be shared between institutions.
The Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital FMG-FMU will also be added to the long list of academic institutions in Montréal that use MEDFAR in their residents’ training.
