MEDFAR Clinical Solutions (“MEDFAR”) has won the tender issued by the Côte-Nord CISSS (Integrated Health and Social Services Centre), continuing its expansion through the province of Quebec.
MYLE, our Electronic Medical Record (“EMR”) solution, will be implemented in the following Côte-Nord health centres:
• The Baie-Comeau FMU
• The Port-Cartier CLSC
• The Havre-Saint-Pierre FMG
It is with great pride that we welcome more than a hundred new users to our network, including around forty doctors. These professionals are joining the MYLE user community, which now includes more than 6,000 doctors and health professionals throughout Quebec. This strengthens our position as the main supplier of EMR solutions in Quebec’s public health network.
MYLE will enable doctors and health professionals who work in the region to serve remote Côte-Nord communities more effectively. Practising in rural areas requires a more diversified range of care-giving skills in order to compensate for the lack of specialists in the region. MYLE will replace paper records and give them access to all the tools and information they need to facilitate and improve the care they provide to their patients.
